Seen a flavour online and wondered how it tastes? We love giving you a chance to try our drinks and have a chat.
On the 3rd of October, we joined the Tribe Games for a day of taste testing. We had Passion Punch, Raspberry and Green Apple flavours of our products on tap.
The Tribe Games brought teams together to compete. We were there to share a taste and chat about what goes into each drink.
Have a sip and a chat
A label tells you what's in a drink. A sip helps you find out if you like it.
Do you like the flavour? Would you want it in your bottle? When would you use it? It's worth asking before you buy a tub.
Missed us on the day? You can watch our Tribe Games recap with Hybrid Fuel to see some of the taste testing.
What's in your training bottle?
Some training days have more than one workout. What you eat and drink between workouts matters too.
Your muscles use carbs for fuel. A drink with carbs can help you fuel up before you start. You can also sip it during longer sessions.
Up early and not ready for breakfast? A carb drink can be handy when a full meal feels like too much.
Our Hydroboost Carb+ powder has carbs and electrolytes. Electrolytes are minerals you lose when you sweat. Sodium is one of them. Follow the mixing guide on your tub.
Your body also needs protein to build and repair muscle and skin. A protein drink is one way to top up what you get from meals. Getting enough each day matters.
Amino acids are the building blocks of protein. Seen BCAAs or EAAs on a label? Our guide to BCAAs and EAAs explains those names.
Try it in training first
Found a flavour you like? Try it in a normal session. See how much you drink and how your stomach feels. That can help you plan what to pack for a longer day.
What you need depends on your workout and what you've eaten. The Australian Institute of Sport's sports drink guide has more tips.
Thanks to the Tribe Games crew and everyone who stopped for a taste. We had a blast meeting you.
